We process monthly, weekly and ad-hoc payrolls ranging in size from a single nanny to a PLC. We deal with a wide variety of adjustments, including:
- Salary review and bonus adjustments
- Pension contributions by employees and employers, including correspondence with pension providers
- Benefits being taxed through the payroll
- Childcare voucher deductions and administration, including liaison with the voucher provider
- Deductions for season ticket loans, the cycle to work scheme etc.
Our process includes the preparation of the payslips, which can be emailed to staff or uploaded to a portal, all submissions to HM Revenue and Customs and the year end returns. You will receive payroll summary reports and details of the deductions and payments. We provide a starter form template for you to use with new joiners, and produce a P45 for each leaver.
At year end we produce the P60 forms and can also assist clients with P11Ds (to report expenses and benefits to HMRC) and PAYE Settlement Arrangements (where employers want to cover the tax cost of benefits on behalf of their employees).
The fully integrated service that we provide can also include setting up a designated client bank account, into which your business transfers funds, then paying your staff, pension companies, childcare voucher providers etc. on your behalf. This ensures confidentiality and simplifies administration for you and your finance team.
Assistance with auto-enrolment pension obligations is a valued service for many clients. We can help by registering with the provider of your choice, provide letters for the employer to give to staff, handle the payroll deductions, calculate employer contributions, payments to the scheme, and re-enrolment when required.
When you have an employer compliance check we can support you whether or not we process your payroll. Our payroll and personal tax team have the experience to respond to HMRC queries and provide the necessary information efficiently.
