Stuart joined the practice in August 2022 having spent the previous 4 years as a director with a central London law firm, providing advice to international high-net-worth-individuals, families, trustees and corporate service providers. Prior to this Stuart trained with a big 4 firm and medium sized practices where he qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. In addition, Stuart spent 10 years with an independent privately-owned wealth management business, including 4 years as part of an international Bermudan based private banking group.
Stuart understands high net worth individuals’ needs and requirements, particularly in relation to UK resident, non-UK domiciled individuals, their structuring needs and those of the wider family.
Stuart has a particular interest in Crypto assets, having advised a number of private UK resident clients on holding and disposing of intangible assets. He also advises on non-UK pensions schemes and Employer Funded Retirement Benefit Schemes (EFRBS). Having advised UK and non-UK resident, non-UK domiciled individuals on their tax affairs for many years, Stuart is well placed to advise on pre-arrival capital planning, tax compliance and trust arrangements where individuals may be beneficiaries of existing trust or company structures.
